A Heart to Serve

Domestically our volunteers work with partner medical surplus recovery organizations to repair donated equipment at partner sites in the United States. Once the equipment is functioning, these partners facilitate the distribution of the operational equipment to medical mission sites around the world.

Our volunteers also travel to developing countries to assist with medical equipment repair in healthcare facilities. The urgent need for working medical equipment in poverty-stricken countries far exceeds the need for doctors. Without functioning equipment, local hospitals are unable to diagnose and treat patients, resulting in extended illness or even death. And without trained staff to make equipment repairs or the proper means to recycle devices, it comes as no surprise that half of the medical equipment in developing nations is not functional and is left to rust and leak toxins. TriMedx Foundation volunteers work to repair medical equipment so that patients can be better served in these areas.

TriMedx Foundation was created in 2004 to address the international need for medical equipment repair and support. Working in partnership with medical mission organizations, TriMedx Foundation provides support services to help maintain the necessary equipment desperately needed for medical care.
