2021 was a productive year for TRIMEDX Foundation thanks to our compassionate donors, dependable and knowledgeable volunteers, and willing partners. Despite limitations due to COVID-19 the Foundation team continued to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve in the United States and abroad.
TRIMEDX Foundation is pleased to welcome Maryssa Small to the team as administrative assistant. Maryssa joined TRIMEDX Foundation earlier this month (Jan. 2022). She brings experience in marketing, database management, and healthcare administration to the team. With an enthusiastic energy and a heart for serving others, Maryssa is thrilled to be part of the TRIMEDX Foundation.

Recently retired Medxcel associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Greg Taylor, has been on two international trips for TRIMEDX Foundation serving Kenya Relief and CURE Niger.
The Mission on the Greens golf outing is the premiere event for TRIMEDX Foundation. Each September, Mission on the Greens takes place in Indianapolis. The event brings together sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and staff to support TRIMEDX Foundation’s mission of being a ministry committed to sharing knowledge, inspiring independence, and improving health care by meeting the unique needs of the communities we serve.
TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Yasser Badreddine began his biomedical technician career in 2000, and joined the TRIMEDX Foundation teams on mission trips to Ecuador and Nigeria, he has also been on four United States mission trips.
TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Jurgen Zieb has been on one in-person and one virtual trip for TRIMEDX Foundation to Bolivia. Jurgen is bilingual and had the opportunity to present “Biomedical Imaging” to students of Universidad del Valle. Over 90 biomedical engineering students attended a series of lectures from Biomedical Engineering professionals from Latin America and the United States.
David Wallace started volunteering for TRIMEDX Foundation in 2016 and has been on five international trips as well as two trips to Supplies Over Seas, in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Volunteer Spotlight is a new feature for TRIMEDX Foundation. For the inaugural piece it seemed fitting to interview long time TRIMEDX associate and TRIMEDX Foundation volunteer Rob Cadick. Rob was the 6th TRIMEDX employee and has been on a total of 25 trips for TRIMEDX Foundation.
There is tremendous need for working medical equipment in developing countries, which are home to more than 80 percent of the world’s population.
